What is a good wheel design??? It is very down to each individual taste, just like woman, hundreds of types out there.

For me, it must serve the fundamental purpose that is to run safe. So a trustworthy brand is important, I would not try to save a few dime and compromise on that.

Wheel changing is especially important to small cars because the original factory fitted is small and it feels good to have BIG one. But the size selection must be limited, if go over too big, the whole car handling and power is greatly affected.

Second, it comes down to design and cosmetic finishing. I would prefer a wheel that looks good after month after month, it still have the great feeling. Some designs are WOW at the first sight but after a week later, it getting boring too fast.

That why I prefer simple design, not too extravagant in styling. Basic finishing like Gun metal, Silver, full machined etc. these kind of finishing will never go out of trend.

Wheel colour must able to match well with the car body colour; I always find it is good to create a contrast between them, like a dark colour car needs to go with light tone wheel and vice versa. Quite unlikely to make a mistake if you follow this advice.
